Hello Los Angeles, Hello World

Part of the beauty of Los Angeles is the weather & the ability to spend so much time outside. Runyon Canyon is a very popular hot spot where locals and visitors alike hike up the canyon for exercise & beautiful views. Runyon Canyon is located in Hollywood Hills and is about a 20 minute uber from West Hollywood. The hike itself is dog friendly and many people bring their dogs with them unleashed.

There is a trail that takes about an hour. There is no correct way to do the hike, you could either hike up a windy long drive way liked paved pathway or do the hike up the steep dirt and rocky path. The trail is a big loop. Typically we like to walk up the paved path and then hike down the dirt road but we have done both directions.

Once you get to the top you have beautiful views of downtown LA and the Hollywood sign.

Pro Tip: Bring a large water, wear sneakers that have traction & a hat since it is very sunny!

Runyon entrance: 2000 N Fuller Ave, Los Angeles, CA
