Trip to Cape Cod

Cape Cod:

For the 4th of July weekend part 2 I traveled to Cape Cod, Massachusetts. This was my first trip to the cape and I absolutely loved it! I stayed with at my BFFs family’s house, which was very relaxing and had such amazing views from every room. The town of Hyannis, Massachusetts reminded me of the Hamptons. It was very quaint with local stores and of course ice cream shops.  We made two trips to Four Seas ice cream shop and I tried the famous pink mint chip flavor, surprisingly so refreshing and tasted amazing.

Since I am a huge lobster lover we checked out Tug Boat for lunch and I highly recommend eating there! The lobster rolls were so fresh and had a lot of meat to it. We also ordered the cape cod’s famous onion ring tower. (this weekend was definitely a cheat weekend!)

Another amazing restaurant was the Mattakeese Wharf, here I ordered a broiled 2 pound lobster for dinner and it was fantastic. Another must on the list of places to eat!

Another highlight was checking out the cape code chip factory. It was interesting to see how the potato chips are manufactured and how automated the factory is. The best part about the tour was the mini bag of potato chips you received as a sample.

Since Cape Cod is a beach town we spent a lot of time laying on the beach and playing in the warm ocean.

Overall it was a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend and I cannot wait to go back next year!
